I have published a public survey and I can open it on iPhone/iPad using the link of the following format:

arcgis-survey123://?itemID=1111

Android devices do not know what to do with this protocol, and when I open the app and go to Download Surveys, it tells me to login. How can I point to/search for/open a public survey in an Android app?

If you create a web page that has this link as a hyperlink, the Android browser will open the link.  In an upcoming release of survey123, we will be providing this in the website; in the meantime, you can create a web page and host it.

Thanks James! I got it working via a  <a href> tag from a website.

Hi James,

Thanks for the input.  I have the same issue.  Do you know when we can anticipate the update so the survey can be opened via android devices?

Thanks

Ryan
