Hello,

I am trying to create a way to name geopoints in my survey so that volunteers do not have to come up with their own naming conventions and so that volunteers can go out and resurvey sites based on these names. These names will show up on a dashboard.

My thought is to have the names generated based on three questions within the .xlsx form.

I have the following questions that I would like to include in the naming; areaname, latitude, and longitude. Hopefully there is a way to combine the three to create a name for the sites.

For example maybe a name could be: "Burmac 38.480795, -106.099375"

I am attaching the start of the survey below that includes the questions referenced above.

Thanks and have a great evening.

Hi Garret,

Yes, this is possible. Looking at your xslx file, which question to you want to populate with the calculated name? You will need to include a calculation that concatenates the areaname, llat and long. You can do this using the concat() function. See the following doc for more information: Formulas—ArcGIS Survey123 | Documentation .

Regards,

Phil.
