Hello All.

I am working on a survey where we want to have two geopoint questions (in separate repeats) that each have their own unique on and offline maps. Is this possibility, and if so, how would I do this? We are only using the maps for "navigational" purposes so that people can select the site they are closest to in the field from a select_one question. The reason that we would like two different maps is that we have two separate forms accessed via repeats and if we point the study sites on one map a lot of the points and/or labels overlap one another and make it harder to read.

As for labeling, is it easier to label all the points in ArcGIS Pro and then create an online and offline mobile map package to upload to ArcGIS Online. Or, is it easier to create the labeling and offline maps in ArcGIS Online. I have never created an offline map where the points (features) are labeled so I am not even sure if this is possible.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi GarrettRSmith,

A default basemap can be set for individual map questions using the map parameter in the body::esri:style column. This parameter supports online and offline maps, including your own web maps.

For more detailed information, please refer to the following link: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/geopoints.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_508274C6348E4...

Additionally, guidance on preparing your offline basemaps is available here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/preparebasemaps.htm

Best regards,

Lei
