Is there a way to make a tile package your default basemap?

I have multiple tile packages loaded to an SD card on a mobile device which is then associated with the published survey. Every time the survey location is chosen on the map, the user has navigate through the list of tile packages and select the base map. If the field crew knows the area they will be in the day before, is there a way to set that particular tile package as the default basemap?

Hi Angela

This is not currently supported. However, I have created this a new enhancement request and added you to it.

Kind regards

I am having the same problem 6 years later. Has this been fixed?

I figured it out...

1) Drop your tile package into the survey123 media folder for the survey you want to set it as the base map

2) Click on the 'Map' tab

3) Click on the 'Basemap' button in the Detailed Map pane and select your tile package.

4) Set the home extent/area in the Detailed Map.

5) (Re)-Publish the survey and update your tablets.
