Intermittent camera issues in Survey123

Hi,

Just to report that we are experiencing intermittent camera issues in Survey123.  Launching the camera (or barcode scanner) seems to work fine for a while, but then occasionally, although the camera launches, users are presented with a black screen in the camera view.  Saving the survey record, exiting Survey123 and relaunching seems to rectify the problem, but something is obviously not quite right.  We have just noticed this happening since  3.3.64 was launched in February.  I have not been able to isolate exactly what is triggering the behaviour, it seems to be random.

We are using Windows 10 on Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1s, Survey 123 field app version 3.3.64.

Hi Claire,

Are you able to test with the latest 3.5 RC1 builds available on EAC? We have seen quite a few improvements with crashes and camera issues occurring less with latest builds on different devices.

Hi Claire,

Are you still having the issues with Survey123 app with the camera on Panasonic Toughpad? We have made significant improvements to the 3.11 release with the camera on Windows, resolving many of the issues noted with Windows tablets in landscape and portrait mode, or when using rear or front facing camera. Can you please test latest 3.11 RC2 builds available on Early Adopter Community.
