Survey Connect v3.13.234
hubErrCheck.inputFormatInvalid is the error that displayed under the question for a phone number in the web form that uses an input mask. I added label::Español (es) to this question for Phone number. Switching between English or Spanish in the web form displays the same error. This error doesn't appear in the Field app.
In a copy of this survey, that only uses English, this error does not display in the web form
type | name | label::English (en) | hint | label::Español (es) | body::esri:inputMask |
text | contact_phone | Phone | Teléfono | (999) 999-9999 |
I just wanted to add my support to the idea of having the constraint message be used when the mask format isn't met, or have the ability to customize the input format not met message.
After working with support, ESRI logged this as BUG-000144214, although I'm not finding it in the Technical Support KB.
My work around was to remove the input mask and show it as a hint.
Thanks for the salesforce issue#, I will link it to the internal issue.
I'm getting the same error message, both in Spanish and English.
I can't tell if this ended up being a bug or if you found how to fix the issue.
Can you share with me your findings/thoughts?
Thank you,
Aaron
