Hide Choices on Initial Survey Load

I've created a survey for users to enter in information in a text field if it has not already been added in an Indicator attribute. Right now, that indicator list is 91 records long. Therefore, creating a long viewing list when the survey opens. I have it set to filter based on the two questions/answers above the list. Is there a way to hide this my Indicator list/records when the survey first opens? I get the look I want in desktop version but when it is published, the long list appears.
