Forcing Uppercase in Feature Report creates parsing error in Template

Hi all,

Creating a feature report template for two surveys and it is behaving differently for the second one.

On both surveys the field names are lowercase which is common, and in order to force capital letters in the report, using ${TOWN} instead of ${town} is producing capital values as intended on the first survey.

However, with several of the same fields and much of the same report, the second survey is throwing the parsing error when trying to use the ${TOWN} method to force capitals. It does work if I change them to all lowercase.

There seems to be something weird going on here, I am on Portal 10.9.1 and am getting unlucky.

  • Form 1 is Gate_Fitting, Gate_Fitting reports are the parsing error ones,
  • Form 4 is ServiceCard, ServiceCardReport Working is the working report.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Replying with a solution in a different post. Applying all lowercase to the docx, then in Font settings making it appear as uppercase has fixed the issue.
