Error: "the map cannot be drawn due to layer support"

I have a survey where others can generate reports, but they have recently started encountering the following error:

"An error occurred when rendering by the report engine. Failed to print map for ${geopoint}. The map cannot be drawn completely because one or more layers are not supported."

I am still able to generate reports for this survey, though the map looks strange (zoomed out to cover the whole region, where before it only showed the immediate area). I have not made any updates to either the survey or the report template. Any recommendations for how to fix this?

Have you checked security settings for the layer in question? Go to the Feature Layer in the Portal and check "What editors can see". If it is set to something like "Editors can't see any features, even the ones they add", that would be a problem.
