Duplicate previous repeat values?

Hi all,

I'm curious whether there's a way to duplicate the contents of a repeat from a previous entry.  I'd like the first entry to have its values default to empty, but then have subsequent repeat entries have their values default to those in the previous entry.

I've attempted to use indexed-repeat with position(..) - 1 to do this but the doc indicates you can't use indexed-repeat within the repeat you want to reference (I tested it just to make sure and as expected, it didn't work).  Are there any other ways to reach back to previous entries within a repeat?

Thanks!

Search the forum this has been posted multiple times.  Only real way now is javascript and a defaults page.

I could really use it.

There are more but I cannot find them.  Hope that helps
