A surveyor wants to be able to draw an area in the shape of a polygon when they are creating a survey.
Is it possible to create a polygon of the area you are surveying?
Thanks.

Hi John,
Currently you cannot draw on a map. We will be enhancing the annotate appearance of the image control to allow for map capture over the next few releases.
You will need include more details.
Like what is your survey person using? Where do they want to do this, in the field or office. etc.
A universal answer at this time is yes you can draw polygons.
They are using a Tablet with Survey123 installed which is sending the collected data to AGOL.
They are using this in the field.
Can they draw lines and polygons using Survey123 on a Tablet in the field?
No.
Survey123 is designed for you to create simple to complex data collection forms in the office that can be taken out in the field and it does allow you to create a geopoint that can be brought back into ArcGIS
Robert I know this and we already do this.
What I am asking is there any way that when the surveyor is in the field, using the pre-created survey, can they draw a polygon on a map to denote a piece of land that they are surveying?

Why not draw the Polygon in Collector then launch Survey123 via a URL to keep them linked?
Just an idea.
