Hi everyone,
I'm building a Survey123 form where the main geometry is a polygon, and I want to collect two separate sets of point features using repeat groups. My goal is to visualize the main polygon and both sets of points as separate layers in a web map.
In the XLSForm:
I have a geoshape question for the main geometry.
Then I have two repeat sections, each with a geopoint question to collect coordinates.
When I submit data, I can see the polygon and the related repeat records in the Data tab of Survey123. However, when I open the layer in Map Viewer, neither of the repeat tables or polygon show any geometry. The tables are there, but the geopoint values aren't treated as spatial features—they don’t display on the map.
I attach the basic structure and how the content tab in ArcGIS Enterprise show the 3 layers
Any advice or best practices would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
I just recreated your form and did a test publish added data and was able to see both main shape and two points from separate repeats. So I suspect it has something to do with the permission/sharing settings with the feature layer/view you are accessing? Does it visualize if you look at the data/map on the Survey123 site?
