Hello, I would like to carry forward responses from a previous question to a subsequent question on a survey. For example, in Q1 I am asking "Where did you visit" and providing a single value list of possible recreation sites. For Q2 I would like to ask "What date did you visit (answer to Q1)" and have survey123 automatically fill in the answer that the respondent gave to Q1. Does Survey123 have this functionality? I have used this in SurveyMonkey before.

Yes, you can do this in Survey123. In the Label field of the XLS form, you can reference a different field. So you would just put something like What date did you visit ${location}? for the label.

Best,
Katie

Hello,

How would I go about carrying forward multiple selected options from a 'select multiple' question into the next question to then assign a range to each of the selected options?

Example:

First question: Please choose all the ways in which you use [natural landscape].

Second question: Now, for each of the selected uses (reference?), please choose the approximate number of days you have used each. (how do I insert range question for each use type?).

Thank you!
