All questions new questions are by default on "do not save answer"

Hello everyone,

I am editing an existing survey in Survey123 web designer and somehow all the questions I add are by default on "do not save answer". The option is also greyed out and cannot be turned off.

When I look in the schema the questions do not have a field type (so the answers will not be stored).

Is there any way to fix this without editing the survey in the Survey123 connect app? Is this fixable in the web designer?

When I "copy" the survey through "save as" all the questions are on default on "do not save answer" and this also cannot be turned off.

I found a couple bugs that could match up to the behaviour that you are seeing: BUG-000183538 for ArcGIS Online, BUG-000183918 for ArcGIS Survey123

From looking into this, they seem to be focused around if the survey was created from an existing feature layer - is this correct for your workflow?
