On my field device (iPhone), a red exclamation point shows up next to my complete surveys and they don't ever seem to send, even if I hit "Send" again. What is preventing my data from being submitted?

If you click on the survey with the red exclamation do you get a detailed error message, if so can you provide a screenshot.
Does the username you are signed in with have access to the survey (permissions) or have the survey been recently re-published? It could be that your survey on the device is no longer pointing to a valid feature service.
