Solution: Feature Point Not Passing Data to Survey Questions
If you are selecting Geo Point features in your Survey123 map and the data is not properly populating in the Survey itself, this can be caused by a mismatch of projection between the Survey Map and your Feature Layer.
While it can be maddening to troubleshoot there is a simple way to leverage Survey123's Data from Polygon functionality in tandem with your Geo Point map, without having to show the customer the polygons themselves.
By processing your original Geo Point Feature Layer and creating a Feature Layer of Polygons (through the Buffer tool) and calculating the Survey Data using the Polygon layer, the coordinate projection issue can be overlooked as the precision hit is widened to be more forgiving of a coordinate mismatch.
My solution included a 5foot buffer around my Geo Points, as none of my Features were anywhere near 5 feet in proximity. This was a safe way to collect the data for my Geo Points and populate Survey123 with the associated data.
