My company has published a survey to ArcGIS Online to collect customer interests in our services. We are asking the customer to fill out a survey 123 form and would like the form to support multiple questions per line like it does when published to Portal. The multiple questions per line can reduce the amount of scrolling the user would have to do, make the form more concise and more eye appealing.
Utilizing survey123 in my new position and I am so disappointed to find out this isn't possible yet.
I want Grids in the Survey123 web app.
Hello all,
We are currently working on supporting grid layouts in the Survey123 web app! We will be hosting a beta testing session next week to test the feature and provide your feedback while we develop the feature.
Please use this survey to register for the event if you're interested in joining. If you'll be unable to attend the event in person that's alright, we will be posting instructions in our Early Adopter Community in the near future.
Please feel free to provide your feedback in the Survey123 Beta Website Feedback forum within the Early Adopter Community.
Thank you,
Zach
Hello,
Is there a timetable for when the grid layout will be released in the Survey123 web app?
Thanks,
Jenna
Hello @JennaWalz3,
Grid layouts were added to the web app with the November 2024 Survey123 release. If you are not seeing them in your survey it may be version locked to an older version of the web app.
To test you can us the version=latest URL parameter to review how your survey looks prior to full switching it to use the latest version. To fully switch the survey to use the latest version you can navigate to the Settings for the survey and change the Web app version setting to "Always use the latest version".
We are excited to announce the grid layouts are now supported in the Survey123 web app and the Survey123 web designer.

@ChrisLeSueur I am trying to publish a survey with a grid layout from Survey123 Connect and have the users fill it out in their browser. When I publish it, it looks accurate on the S123 mobile app but the grid isn't there at all when I open up the form in the browser. Is this a limitation?
