StreetMap Premium: Street Data Errors

Hi,

I have been using the StreetMap Premium data for my network analyses.

I realized that some streets simply are traced where there are not roads. One of them crosses a quarry (!?)

I made a check with recent and old imagery. The road neither was there before nor it is there now.

I know I can't modify the network coming from this solution.

As per your knowledge is there a way for adding some information? Let's say an extension  to the network.

Let alone that I would do this for many of them and probably it doesn't worth the time spent as I would have to check a widespread area.

Probably the best solution is addressing the issue to the vendor and waiting for the new release...

Meanwhile, I am waiting for your advice.

Thanks.

Hello Pan gis,

The best way to deal with this is through Esri Technical Support.  Can you please submit this through our Tech Support team, so that the data errors can be understood completely, logged, and tracked?  Once logged through Support, the data errors will be communicated and fixed with the appropriate data vendor (HERE, TomTom, or INCRIMENTP), and then show up in the StreetMap Premium data product.

Hi Scott,

Yes I will, better to contact Esri rather than the vendor directly.

In the meantime I will try to put some barriers for preventing the solver to go through that way once I find a mistake; this is the only idea that came into my mind.

Thank you.
