Viewing Map Tour on smart phones

My question is about the Smart Phone Viewer for the Map Tour using the StoryMap template.  With all other device views I can zoom in and out to see the Map Tour location within the larger base map, but with the Smart Phone view I can not figure out how to zoom in and out...is it me or is this feature missing from the smart phone viewer?

This view has the "Find My Location" feature turned on.

@RebeccaGardner1 -- On a physical device, readers can pinch to zoom and drag to pan anywhere they'd like to go.

If you are in story preview mode (like in your screenshot, above), you can hold SHIFT and drag a box to zoom in or hold SHIFT-CONTROL and drag a box to zoom out.
