Are URL parameters supported yet with ArcGIS StoryMaps? Useful URL parameters include language parameters for bilingual users or section links to open the StoryMap in a specific location.
Here are some favorites used with classic templates: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/Cascade/index.html?appid=5ada2d941270447b9e240ea31dc1a39b

Hi Emilie -- Thanks for sharing that Cascade that describes your favorite StoryMap URL parameters! 🙂
While URL parameters can be useful, they can be a bit awkward and hard to learn about for people who aren't as technical and don't read our blogs. With the new ArcGIS StoryMaps, we want to make many of the things that were only possible in the classic templates using URL parameters even easier for everyone. We don't have any specific information to share about future features related to the things you mentioned right now, but stay tuned as we'll be releasing updates for the new StoryMaps about every two months now.

Does that mean you are adding more URL parameters? (not removing them right?) I hope Esri continues to add them across products more than ever. For example, Locator services would do well to have them. It'd be easier than making a locator 'view' for an extent to be able to append programmatically the coordinates of an extent as a URL parameter. As one useful real-world example.
I have another real-world question that came up today. How to stop scrolling on a Cascade StoryMap? And how to navigate programmatically to a certain page which I know is another thing they can do.
How would one determine what the potential query string parameters are for the current day story maps?
