We were doing a presentation about the environment from global scale to local scale using a Story Map for a big audience, when we unfortunately discovered that the auto zoom to content are not there anymore when transitioning to new scenes in a Sidecar presentation. It now only shifts to the next scene with no zoom-transition.
This is very unfortunate and very unsatisfying if this is a new change to the ArcGIS Story Maps, as this will remove the logic presentation when moving from scene to scene for the audience, and especially when we show things in global to local perspective.
We truly hope this is an error and this will be fixed soon. Otherwise, most of our already finalized Story Maps for our stakeholders and public authority is meaningless.

@cbp-geus -- We have identified the issue and are looking into how to address it. We expect to have this fixed next month in our next update. I apologize for the impact this had on your presentation and your stories.
@cbp-geus -- Could you share a link to a publicly available story so someone can investigate?
Hi @OwenGeo . Of course. You can try with this Story Map Global Earth VRE (arcgis.com).
This presentation starts with a global Earth where it was supposed to zoom in on Copenhagen and other different regions around in Denmark including making a fly-tour over to Greenland and areas around there showing the geology. Now it only makes a simple transition from scene to scene.

Thank you @OwenGeo. That sounds really good.
We plan to fix this issue Thursday evening. Please check back Friday morning and things should be working as expected again.
