I am creating a Story Map with several bullet point lists.  I would like to create sub-bullet points as well.  How does one do this?

Example:

  • Ford
    • Mustang
    • Escape
  • Chevrolet
    • Camaro
    • Tahoe

@JonRees Are you using an ArcGIS Online account, or an Enterprise account? This looks like you may be on a version of ArcGIS Enterprise that does not have the text editor update on it (11.0). Check out this documentation on enhancements that come to ArcGIS StoryMaps on Enterprise: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-storymaps/reference/whats-new.htm

Hi @JonRees

You can create sub bullets by hitting the Tab button on your keyboard. This will indent the current bullet.

To move the sub-bullet back to the initial bullet position, place you cursor to the immediate right of the bullet, then hit the delete, or backspace, button on your keyboard.

Let me know if this workflow is not allowing your bullets to indent successfully.

Hi @AbbyE_Esri-  I tried the tab button, but it didn't indent the bullets for me?

Hey @JonRees , did you hit the tab button before typing in the bullet you're attempting to indent? Try creating a bullet, and before typing any text into that bullet, hit Tab.

Yes, when I hit tab before typing any text, it takes me up a line to the previous bullet point.

Not sure why it's behaving this way...im jealous it works for you.
