Currently in ArcGIS StoryMaps, sidecar navigation is dots until there are more than 5 slides, when the dots become numbers. This is not customizable and can be confusing when there are multiple sidecars of different lengths in the same story map and some have dots and some have numbers. It would be nice to be able to choose one or the other in a story, no matter how many slides there are in one sidecar.
