Disconnect subtitle from Item Summary

Can you please disconnect the subtitle of the story from the Item Summary?

I have a user who is using the subtitle  as an extension of the title and I am unable to change the item summary. Well, I can change it, but every time she re-publishes the story map, it changes the item summary back to the subtitle.

While I'm thinking about it... I liked the feature where it automatically updated the title of the item when you updated the title of the Story, but I think I want that disconnected as well.

I'm going through and updating the item titles so they fit nicely in a gallery, and I can't do that without changing the title of the StoryMap.

Hi @JenniferBorlick - You can do this in the publish options. Just uncheck Update ArcGIS item details when publishing and the item details will no longer be overwritten.

Yeah, but that means I have to rely on my end users to remember to uncheck that. I'm not going to have time to peruse my website to see if my changes "stick."
