I have worked Rainfall raster images and calculated the zonal statistics, However I am not sure the MAX, MIN, MEAN, SUM etc, which results to compare with the interested dependent variables such as number of Dengue cases.

And also is there anyway to extract actual rainfall in (inches or mm) from zonal statistics results ?

Many thanks in advance

I think MEAN or SUM would be fine. You could check its correlation with the number of dengue cases per unit area.

And also is there anyway to extract actual rainfall in (inches or mm) from zonal statistics results ?

What is the unit of the raster values ? You could multiply the values with an appropriate factor (using Raster Calculator) to get the values in a different unit.

Zonal statistics as table provides a complete summary of the statistics as well
