I have a bit of an issue. My end goal is to take a kernel density analysis and spatial join it with points so I know what density region they are in. But it appears that I cannot use a raster dataset with a spatial join. I tried to convert it to a polygon using the raster to polygon tool but my raster dataset needs to be an integer type. I used the Int (Spatial Analyst) tool but all my density values are below 0.5 so all my values just end up being rounded down to 0. Any suggestions?

Hi Michel,
Have you looked at the Extract Values to Points(Spatial Analyst) Tool?
ArcGIS Help 10.2 - Extract Values to Points (Spatial Analyst)

Thanks that worked. It doesn't seem to play nice with Shapefiles but I got it to work.
