Extract by Mask in ArcInfo 10

Hello,

I have problem with "Extract by Mask" function in Arc Info 10. In Arc View 9.3 this function was OK, but in newest wersion I have some problem, because this function isn't giving good results. When I want extract some raster surface in GRID format to some polygon in SHP format this function doesn't work and in addition changing piksel value in my raster layer on (High : 3,40282e+038 and Low : 3,40282e+038).

Did somebody have the same problem?

Hi,
Try in ArcToolBox, Data Management Tools, Raster, Raster Processing, Clip

and use the shape to cut the raster.

It worked for me, not Extract by Mask.
