Hi out there,

I am looking for some assistance with Darcy Flow and Darcy Velocity, under Groundwater in the Spatial Analyst toolbar.  I would like to produce an output raster that has meaning.  For Darcy Velocity, it produces two rasters: direction and magnitude.  However, the direction raster I am producing is not like the Flow Direction raster I have produced before, using the Flow Direction tool in the Hydrology tab, which gives you values 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and you can assign directions accordingly.  My direction raster output has values from 188-327.  Is there a way to change these into the direction values I described above?  If not, is there a way to assign a direction arrow to these values?  For the magnitude output raster, I'm assuming that once I have my direction arrows, I could have the size of each arrow represent the assigned magnitude.

Thank you for your gracious help!

Leah,

The best way to use and visualize the output direction and velocity information is to create tracks using the ParticleTrack tool.

Have you tried that yet?
