I have a user who is running an Image Classification using ArcGIS Pro 2.2. As part of that he ran an Accuracy Assessment that includes Create Accuracy Assessment Points and Compute Confusion Matrix. We had a very difficult time getting this to run. Sometime we would get a 999999 error, some times Pro would crash. I believe we found the problem. In the following documents, the field "GROUND_TRUTH" should be "GndTruth":
https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/image-analyst/create-accuracy-assessment-points.htm
https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/spatial-analyst/compute-confusion-matrix.htm
This was found through trial and error. A test of random points was created with the Create Accuracy Assessment Points, and the field created was "GndTruth." When we changed the field name from what is said it should be named to the name generated by the tool, both tools ran smoothly.
My question is this:
Is it possible to fix either the name of the field used by the tool, or the name of the field in the documentation?
Add a field with the name you need and calculate its values from the original field. Make sure the data type is appropriate.
