Hey there!
I hope somebody can help me or at least give me some input for a new method.
I have two different feature classes with polygons with different geometry and I would like to query and adopt attributes from one (yellow in picture) to the other (orange in picture). The problem is, that I would like to do spatial union (correlation: WITHIN) , but ONE TO ONE and I would like to define that only the attributes from the polygon (origin, yellow) which has the highest surface percentage within the other polygon (target polygon, in orange) should be adopted. Is there any possibility to achieve this with the overlay toolbox?
My other intention was to work with UNION and then DISSOLVE the polygons of the new layer related to an original Keyfield or ID. But there equally I'd need to have a query to define which attributes out of f.e. 5 polygons with the same Keyfield (FID) should be choosen (I'd like to take the attributes from the polygon with the largest area, see attribute table below).
Does anybode has a solution or a methodical input for this problem?
Thank you so much!
