Any ideas why special event assets would show up in the site map web map, but not in the site map application?
In my example, the "Friday Move in" assets are appearing in the web map:
But the assets are not showing up when I apply the filter to the site map application:
Only the event point feature appears on the map when I apply the filter.
I marked the Friday event as "approved" today through the manager app because I intend to run the notebook script to utilize workforce.
It appears that the "SpecialEventAssets_approved" layer view does not contain any of the Friday assets. I wasn't aware that this layer existed until now and I don't know how to "approve" the Friday assets.
It shouldn't matter anyway because the Site Map web map doesn't use this SpecialEventAssets_approved layer view:
Any ideas appreciated. Thank you.
Hi-
I'm not exactly sure- are you opening the site map alone or launching it from the Special Event Manager/Special Event Permit Manager (depending on which solution you deployed). Do you see the assets if you click the "Edit Site Map" button from that actual application (see attachment)?
THx

Hi, thanks for your response. I do not see the assets when opening the site map application alone or when opening the site map through the event manager application as shown in your png.
The assets are present in the SpecialEventAssets layer attribute table and are visible in the site map web map shown below.
Does the site map web application use some kind of filter to only show assets which are "approved"?
Hi- sorry nothing ringing a bell. Only the Special Event point layer has the approved attributes. There is a scale dependency but looks like you are zoomed in far enough. I tried a couple new deployments and couldn't replicate. I'm happy to look more with you if you want to write me at jlindemann@esri.com and maybe we can find a time to screenshare?
That would be great. Sent you a message.
