I am working toward deploying the Irrigation Solutions package and I am excited about its capabilities.  I am trying to add a "Quick Coupler" Valve type as an option to the Valve Feature Service Feature Class.  I have been able to add it to the Domain of Values, I have been able to create its symbology, but I have not been able to have it be an available valve type to create or add.

I am sure that I am over looking something, but I just cant seem to figure it out. Below are some screen shots of the web map showing it in the symbology, but not in the editable options.

Thanks in advance

Hi Roman,

I have tried and had the same issue as you but there is a workaround in ArcGIS Pro. Please follow the steps below:

  1. After opening a new project in ArcGIS Pro, open the Irrigation System Editor map by using the Portal tab in the Catalog Pane. AlexKabak_0-1693592845577.png

    2. In the Edit tab at the top of Pro, click the arrow at the bottom right corner of the Features group. This will allow you to manage the edit templates.

    3. In the manage templates pane, right-click Valve and select "Create all templates". This will add Quick Couple to the edit templates. AlexKabak_2-1693593139656.png

    4. In the Share tab, click Save Web Map and in the Save Web Map pop-up click Save Web Map AlexKabak_3-1693593402393.png

    5. In the Save Web Map pane, click Save.

This will overwrite Irrigation System Editor and save the old version with a guid at the end (ex.  Irrigation System Editor_202309011409).

Repeat for Irrigation System Field Map.

Hope this helps!

Alex,

Thank you for helping me with that work around.  That does allow me to add a Quick Coupler in AGOL Map Viewer.  However, the template was not updated in Field Map.  I cannot (or cannot figure out how to) update or add the Quick Coupler Template in Field Map.  I am still only able to see the original four templates.

I am able to see the features that are created in Map Viewer in the Field Map App, but cannot create a new feature.

Should the work around work for this, or is there a second step in Field Map Editor that I need to take?

Thanks Again!

You will need to open Irrigation System Field Map in ArcGIS Pro and repeat the same steps above.

I did that.  The screenshot above is from the "new" Irrigation System Field Map.

To confirm, I just completed the step again, and have the same results.  When I opened the "new" Field Map in Pro the templates were the original four, so I "Created All Templates" again and it did show the Quick Coupler Template in the pane.  However, it still does not show in the Field Map App or Editor.
