Hi,

I am trying to configure the Request Management Solution to send emails with Power Automate but have run into an issue setting up the flow. I am following the instructions at https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-solutions/latest/reference/configure-gis-request-management.htm and at step number 19 it says to click Body as the output from the previous step. I do not get the option for Body, all I see is Events and Events Item.

I have the Power Automate premium licence and my connection to ArcGIS Enterprise all seems to work. Can anyone suggest what I might have missed?

Thanks,

Stephen

@StephenKing3 - Looks like you are following the documentation for GIS Request Management for ArcGIS Online. There is an additional step to set up the ArcGIS Enterprise Connector after step 12, when you click Change Connection and follow the prompts to sign in to the ArcGIS organization. Make sure you are also using the ArcGIS Enterprise connector (purple icon) and not the ArcGIS connector (yellow icon). You can follow the remainder of the steps as written.

Let me know if this helps. We are going to add specific documentation for sending emails with Power Automate using ArcGIS Enterprise in early July.

Hi @DanielWickens, I am using the Enterprise connection - I don't have the solution installed in ArcGIS Online. I've attached a screenshot of what I am seeing. Thanks!

OK, just want to verify a few things:

  • You followed these steps to set up the ArcGIS Enterprise Connector
  • You checked on 'Enabled editing' and 'Keep track of changes to the data' on the GIS_Activities feature layer and GIS_Requests feature layer view
  • You chose 'GIS_Requests / GIS_Activities' for the Feature Layer parameter in the ArcGIS Connector.

Can you make sure all of these are true before we set something up to dig in further.

@DanielWickens yes, I can confirm that I have followed those steps. I have also tried setting up the ArcGIS Enterprise Connector before beginning the flow and during creating the flow and get the same result. For the GIS_Activities and GIS_Requests, I have both of those properties enabled, although 'Keep track of changes to the data' is greyed out (but enabled). I have tried re-enabling but this hasn't made a difference. Thanks again.

OK, I'll send you a DM to set up a screenshare.
