Hi, talked to tech support about this and not getting anywhere. here's what I was trying to get through to the support:
"I have this app that’s open to everyone – anybody on the street can view and enter new data to it – that is EVERYONE, AND ANYONE. No login required.
But if our company users who logs into their arcgisonline account, they will get that error message when hitting the same link. the error says: "Configured group is invalid or no items have been shared with this group yet"
I do have a polygon layer to define the submission area and another polygon layer that shows on-going projects.
I really don't know a whole lot about the sharing at arcgisonline. hope someone can point me to the right direction. thanks
I'd double check that the group for citizen problem reporter includes the polygons you added. And possibly make the polygons public so it's not forcing a login to your organization. Have tried doing this in an incognito webpage? It seems like maybe it's not really available to the public if it's prompting your users with an error.
trust me, it opens to everyone.
I checked another city's citizen problem reporter site while logged in to my organization's arcgisonline account. can't bring up their reporting page either.
