Enable Logging for A Proxy

I'm trying to troubleshoot my first javascript application. Under the topic "Using the proxy page" found here:

Using the proxy | Guide | ArcGIS API for JavaScript

It states that you can enable logging for a proxy. Can anyone explain how this can be done?
