Map Packages instead of Tile Packages

I am new to ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF.

Can we use Map Packages directly using Runtime SDK? If yes, Is there any documentation that is available for reference please?

You can find examples from ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF samples application that you get when installing the SDK. There all examples that doesn't have postfix Online uses local layers (tile or map package).

If you have more specific questions, then we can answer more detailed.
