I am having difficulty getting Arabic city names to display with TextSymbol using ArcGIS 10.2, Arabic names don't appear but Roman ones do, is there any reason why this shouldn't work? I have checked that my city names are correct and they appear on other android widgets, but not on the map.
I checked with an iOS friend and he says that the MapView doesn't know which font to use.
In TextSymbol you can provide a "fontFamily". Unfortunately, I can't find any examples of fontFamily and the documentation just says it is a string!
Can someone provide me an example of setting the font in TextSymbol?
