hello , i basically have a shapefile that contains a table of roadmap , these roads are classified into 4 categories in accordance to their frequencies , ( 7/7 and 2/7 and 1/7 and 1/30 ) i want to divide every category to a specific length , and then group each of these categories under a polygon , let's say i have a blue road that have a frequency of 7/7 and a yellow road of 2/7 frequency and an orange road of 1/7 frequency ( frequencies doesnt matter , its used only for referencing ) i want to split the blue road into 1.5 km parts and then add the yellow and the orange untill i have a sum of 2km of roads that contains the 1.5 of the blue and the rest of the categories ( lets say 0.5 from yellow and 0.5 from orange ) , it doesnt matter the length difference underneath the group , all it matters that the sum doesnt exceed 2km

is it possible to do that ? thanks in advance

here is a descriptive photo in case if its not clear, i apologize in advance for the mistakes
