We are currently working on a project in which we use the ArcGISOnline REST API to do some operations on ArcGISOnline feature services like synchronization etc. We need to know whether we will get affected regarding the launch of Esri’s ArcGIS Platform.

In this website, it states:
”If you have an ArcGIS Online account or ArcGIS Enterprise account and have developed an application or solution that uses ArcGIS Online services other than ArcGIS Platform location services, the migration timeline below does not apply.”
“Applications that (…) utilize the REST API endpoints directly must migrate to ArcGIS Platform location service endpoints by April 30th, 2022.”
So, as far as I understand, the endpoints will smoothly and automatically migrate to ArcGIS Platform services in April, therefore we don’t need to tweak our applications and our REST API code at all, because the REST API mechanism will stay the same. Do I understand it correctly?
