When will Reality Studio support e57 files?

Could you please elaborate a little more on the e57 files? Which workflows are you envisioning for them into Reality Studio?

The E57 format is a vendor-neutral file format and can store 3D data (pointclouds), corresponding (360°) images and XML metadata. It is a widely used format used by laser scanner such as Leica or Faro.

I´d like to use an existing e57 file to generate a dense reconstruction from both point cloud and 360° images and combine this information with drone imagery.

This would be useful for us also.  

Ideally we would be able to incorporate internal e57 scans and associated imagery to build an internal mesh/splats of a facility, with external e57 scans and photos with drone imagery to build a comprehensive site/external mesh/splats.
