I'm creating a QuickCapture app for a group of fifth-grade students who are going to Catalina Island for a school trip. The trip advisors have been told that the internet is not strong on the island. Chaperones will be using the app on their smartphones. Will the app work if the phones have a weak connection?

@JGVadnais1 Going to Catalina sounds fun!
In case it helps, here is a blog describing how to configure a custom map for QuickCapture: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-quickcapture-blog/configuring-a-map-in-your-arcgis-quickcapture... As @ChristopherCounsell indicated, you will likely want to configure your project with a mobile map package (you can create them in ArcGIS Pro pretty easily) to make sure the map works while offline.
Hi,
Yes the app will continue to work except:
If the map is necessary you can create a map package to download as part of the project.
