Can I Avoid Multi-Screen Forms and Use a Single View?

Hi 😄

I have a client asking about ArcGIS QuickCapture, and I understand that its logic is to enable very fast data capture with minimal interaction, avoiding complex forms and multiple steps.

However, their requirement is the following: they don’t want a form split across different screens (like going step by step). Instead, they would like to have everything in a single screen — all fields visible at once — rather than navigating through multiple pages.

From my understanding, this kind of multi-field, single-view form is not really aligned with how QuickCapture is designed.

Is there any way to achieve this within QuickCapture? Or would the recommended approach still be to use something like ArcGIS Survey123 for this type of workflow

Thanks in advance! Have a good day

Hi @Pili,

I just tried creating a new Project in Quick Capture using ArcGIS Online and I was able to add all information on a single page

The behaviour you are observing is because you have implemented Project user inputs and therefore that is the reason why you see a "multi-page" style.

If you want to avoid that "multi-page" style in QuickCapture, you can consider Survey123 or even Field Maps.

Glen
