Strange behavior when editing in a version

When working with versions in ArcGIS Pro, we encountered some strange behavior in ArcGIS Pro (version 3.5.1).
Operating system: Windows 11 Pro (version 23H2), database: Oracle 19c.

We are using versions (traditional versioning), and in the basic ArcGIS Pro settings under Options > Application > General > Start ArcGIS Pro, we have selected either Without a project template or With a default project.
In Application > Editing > Session, we have the options Enable and disable editing from the Edit tab and Multiple workspace edit session checked (note that if the Single workspace edit session option is selected, the described issue does not occur!).

After ArcGIS Pro launches and loads an “empty” or some default project, I then choose to open another project via Open > Recent Projects. This project contains a layer connected to a version from SDE.
If I then click Enable Editing and use Edit Vertices to make edits to a line, after finishing the edit, the line visually returns to its original position — even though the actual geometry has changed. The change is only visible if I select the line again for editing (highlighting its vertices). Neither refreshing the map nor saving the edits helps; the only solution is to close and reopen the project. Until then, the edited feature (when not selected for further editing) appears as if no edits have been made.

This situation does not occur if Application > General > Start ArcGIS Pro is set to Show the start page, or if I open the APRX file directly by clicking on it — that is, launching it outside the ArcGIS Pro environment.
