ArcGIS Pro SDK installed, but cannot see in Visual Studio

I went through the steps of installing the ArcGIS Pro SDK in Visual Studio 2017 Community.  When I got to the step to verify the installation, by starting a New Project, there is no listing of the templates, even though I see they are installed under Tools - Extensions and Updates.

In your Visual Studio Community Edition installation, can you please check if you have installed the .NET Desktop development workload?  This is required to display the templates.
