Analog in Pro SDK to ArcObjects' Ability to Launch ArcMap as COM Server

Hi,

In ArcObjects, I am able to launch ArcMap as a COM Server and once ArcMap opens, catch an OpenDocument event inside my custom add-in so that I can do some work in the document. Once done, I shutdown the ArcMap COM Server via ArcObjects.

Is something like this possible in ArcGIS Pro?

This is not possible with Pro.

There is limited automation available with Python and arcpy.
