hello I am a relatively new user, I had the program installed on my laptop and it works fine. but it is slow so i tried to install it on my desktop and u get this clock error.

I tried everything i could think of. I checked the date, time, time zone, the version of ArcGIS, i tried 3.3 and 3.4. i tried installing a different version of Microsoft NET, I tried changing the bios settings, i even tried reseating windows. I also tried it on another desktop computer and it worked perfectly. but on my computer it just dose not work.

for context I am a student and i have organizational license through my university. the organizational admin could not help me, he dose not really know. the only thing I can think todo is to upgrade to windows 11, because the desktop that did work run on it, but my original laptop still also works.

anyone have any suggestions of what else to try ? I am quite desperate at this point.

no not really, my clock is correct and the license is not machine specific. it is some sort of error that I can fix

Hmmm...then it may be worth a call to Esri Support Services to see if they are better able to troubleshoot this issue.
