Hi,
We have a Model Builder model which is scheduled to run once a week. This model was built on our organization's admin account in a shared folder and toolbox.
What happens to the model if the user leaves the organization? Will the model still run because it sits in a shared folder?

@Hayley Your IT people would be best suited for this question on what they plan on doing with the former employee's machine. But how a Scheduled tools work is that it runs on the users machine using Windows Task Scheduler
Also, it may be useful to follow this 1 minute tutorial video if you need the process running.

Thanks @JonathanNeal. We had a look in the Task Scheduler and found it was dependent on one user's machine which we will now change to a generic login. Thanks for the pointer
Create a specific domain account in your environment that's only used to schedule tools. Give access to the account to anyone trusted to schedule tools and change the password every time one of those users leaves the company. Ideally have this account register tools to a machine that can run 24/7 with scheduled downtime if you have the resources. Any other workflow is going to lead to issues with scheduled tools in the long run so the faster you rip off the bandaid and migrate your tools the better.
