view layer with attachments

Is it possible to create a View Layer for a hosted feature layer that has attachments?

I tried to do this but get an 'Unable to Load' error message when I select the view layer.

Has anyone figured out a way around this?  Or is it possible to make a view layer out of a layer with attachments?

Attachments should be visible on a hosted view layer by default. You can turn them off in the view settings.

It sounds like something else is going wrong? How did you create the view layer and what are you doing before you get the error?
