Vertices not displaying when editing vertices.

Vertices are not displaying for a user when editing vertices. Is there some setting that disables their display? The default symbology in the settings is set.

I was able to to correct the issue by un-rotating my map orientation. Odd, it was working with the map rotated and then it just decided to stop.

Yes!!! This is my problem too. How do I see the vertices??

I was having this issue when I was trying to edit a line, and under Modify Features > Change the Selection, the program kept highlighting too many sections. I right clicked over options that I didn't need and manually removed them by hitting "Unselect." Then when I went to Select & Edit Vertices, the vertices populated for me.
