Hello all,
Our organization is seeing an error for some not all users working with feature services/branch versions. When an affected user tries to switch to a branch version, they get an error occur saying "Unknown Database Error has Occurred." This results in the version not switching to the desired branch versions. The workaround currently is to close and reopen ArcGIS Pro after the error occurs. When they reopen their Pro project it does open to the desired branch version with having to switch from DEFAULT.
Has anyone seen this before and have a solution?
Thanks,
Bill
What version of Pro are you using and what version is your enterprise?
We had some "issues" (problems) recently with our Enterprise being at 10.8.1 and the Pro version we were using to edit our branch versioned data being at 2.9.1.... workflow manager was acting odd, the error inspector wasn't working correctly... turns out that it was a compatibility issue between our Pro and Enterprise versions.
We are at Pro 2.6.7 and Enterprise 10.8.1. We also have workflow manager, but don't really use it.
strangely similar too, but for older versions
BUG-000129085: In ArcGIS Pro, changing the branch version for a fea.. (esri.com)
Interesting. Thanks for the letting me know! We are at Pro 2.6.7 and Enterprise 10.8.1 so the bug "should" be resolved.
well it also says "not in current production plan" and your versions suggest it shouldn't be an issue. I would contact Tech Support in case your situation is different
